You are welcome to pop into the home at any time or call up to arrange a visit. A member of staff will make themselves available to show you around the home and introduce you to the team, answering any questions you may have.
Family and friends of residents are of course welcome to visit at any time.

Immediately, we suggest you book an appointment with the care home manger to discuss care requirements and whether Spynie Care Home is the most suitable home to provide the best care for you or your loved one.

This will depend on your circumstance and the type of care required. Care costs can be funded by social services or a Private contract.
Nursing care can be 1) social services contract with client contribution/social services contribution / FNC payment. 2) Continuing care – fully funded or 3) FastTrack – fully funded 4) Private contract – client contribution/FNC payment.

Adult Social Care Direct are the first point of contact and will take details of prospective clients before referring to social workers who will assess financial / heath and care needs to agree the type of placement required.

Our carers and senior carers range from SVQ 2 to 3 and 4. They have the ability to administer medication within their qualifications. All carers are required to achieve levels of certification during employment. We have carers with dementia training, registered mental health nurses, and general nurses. They are qualified to BSC and BSC (hons) levels.
